Standard vs Premium routing
Every plan listed here is Standard: our lowest price for the destination, with data buyback on eligible sizes. A few location-sensitive apps such as TikTok can be geo-restricted on Standard. Premium routes your traffic so it exits outside Hong Kong and those apps behave normally, but it costs more and does not buy back unused data. Same networks, coverage and speeds on both. Which plans qualify for buyback?
Standard plans of 5GB and up that carry the buyback badge in the store. The cap is half your plan, rounded down to the nearest GB: a 5GB plan can return up to 2GB, 10GB up to 5GB, 20GB up to 10GB. Premium routing plans do not buy back unused data.
What rate do I get for unused data?
The same per-GB price you paid for the plan. Not pennies on the dollar.
Does wallet credit expire?
No. Purchased balance and buyback credit stay in your wallet until you spend them.
Can I make calls or send texts?
No. Every plan we sell is data only, with no phone number attached, so calls and texts over the mobile network are not included. Keep your home SIM active if you need your own number, or call and message over the eSIM data with WhatsApp, FaceTime or Telegram.
